Diploma inCivilEngineering
The evergreen branch covering Thermodynamics, Robotics, CAD/CAM and Automobile Engineering.
About the Program
Civil engineering being one of the cores and most fundamental engineering branches is fully dedicated towards the same teaching and learning philosophy of the Foundation. Department was established in the year 2008 with an intake of 60 students. The department laboratories are fully equipped with the latest equipment, licensed software’s and all necessary teaching aids.
Besides high-quality teaching & learning processes It is the branch with a lot of diversity from Geotechnical Engineering to Structural engineering, Environmental to Hydraulics and Transportation to Hydrology; Civil Engineering can be considered as a single largest branch among all the engineering branches.
We have started new trend of teaching by conducting hands on training series called PADEL(P-Planning, A-Analysis, D-Design, E-Estamating, L-Layouting) in which we teach significant Civil engineering tools eg. Autocad,Total station etc. to prepare our students for industries. Dept have faculties those are specialized in different domain of civil engineering like Structures, Geo-tech, Construction management, Environment etc.
The students emerging out are efficient in planning, designing and constructing the projects to the required scale and also the maintenance of the projects. They will possess high standards of engineering knowledge. At final year, students are exposed to technical and real-world problems in their project work.
Alumni are serving in Govt. organizations and MNCs. Many Alumni have become successful entrepreneurs in the construction industry. Scope of the branch: The scope of Civil Engineering lies in developing, designing, planning, calculating, monitoring construction as well as executing and managing the construction of buildings, roads and physical structures like bridges, dams, etc. and their maintenance.
Vision
