The Department of Information Technology & CSE(Data Science) is dedicated to excellence in research, teaching, and the provision of the appropriate echo system for fostering students’ developing professional abilities. Modern laboratories and improved learning facilities are available in the department enabling students to participate in ongoing research and learning. The Department seeks to impart moral responsibility as well as technical skills that are applicable to industry to its students. It aims to produce future knowledge society leaders who can raise the standard of living in the nation. The Department gives students the ability to develop their soft skills and managerial abilities through a variety of activities, enabling them to become well-rounded professionals and well-groomed individuals.

The Department of Information Technology and CSE(Data Science) prepares students for the challenges presented by constantly developing technical breakthroughs by promoting a sense of accomplishment in them. The department has designed a curriculum built from three course categories: (a) Basic Information Technological courses, which cover the fundamental subjects in the discipline; (b) Advanced Computer Science courses that open the door to cutting-edge topics; and (c) Programming courses that enable students to acquire various programming skills.
3. Syllabus is designed to match with industry needs. IoT, Machine learning, Data Analytics, Cloud technologies and other latest technologies have been included in the curriculum in line with industry expectations.
