Engineering Mechanics (D-Alembert Lab)

Engineering Mechanics Lab Equipments come in handy for demonstration and understanding of various theories of mechanical engineering. These ergonomically designed lab equipments are required for comprehension of principles of shear forces, mechanical friction and dry friction. We would like to introduce ourselves as a growth oriented manufacturer and exporter of superior quality Engineering Mechanics Lab. These are also used to conduct various tests like fatigue, torsion and impact of various machinery. In addition to that, these lab equipments have key role in measuring vibration, deformation, stability, analysis of stress and strain of various industrial equipment.

Engineering Geology (Hutton Lab)

The identification of different types of rocks and understanding their behavior are the major objectives of geology. Further, development of cracks, fissures in rocks, their causes and their remedies are to be learnt in this lab.

Geotechnical Engineering (Terzaghi Lab)

Geotechnical Engineering

The objective of soil mechanics and geotechnical lab is to check the basic properties of soil of a certain area that is to be used for construction purpose. Soil properties include Atterbergs limits, bearing capacity, liquid limit, plastic limit, moisture content, etc. The lab is equipped with equipments like: casagrande apparatus, direct shear apparatus, triaxial test apparatus, compression testing machine, standard proctor test apparatus, grain size analysis test apparatus, permeability test apparatus etc.

Surveying Laboratory (Everest Lab)

Surveying Laboratory

It includes essential measurements to determine the relative position of points or physical and cultural details above, on, or beneath the surface of the Earth, and to depict them in a usable form, or to establish the position of points or details.

Concrete Technology (Aspdin Lab)

Concrete Technology

The concrete technology lab is established to train students to carry out tests on common construction materials such as concrete, cement, tiles etc. The tests are conducted to determine the engineering properties in terms of strength, strain, fatigue, creep, elasticity, stiffness durability, and workability. Major equipment includes digital compression testing machine with flexural strength calculation attachment, standard test sieves (coarse and fine sets) with sieve shaking machine, (slump test, compaction factor and Vee-Bee time apparatus), Vicat and Le-chatelier apparatus. All these experiments intended to determine the quality of concrete.

Environmental Engineering

Environmental Engineering

With the addition of new BOD track apparatus and COD Digestor and Spectrophotometer, this lab has become the most advanced environment testing laboratory of the region. With the range of other equipment available in the lab viz. Digital Disolved Oxgen meter, Digital Multi parameter, Turbiditimeter, BOD incubator, Jar test apparatus etc. the lab is fully equipped to check various impurities present in water in the form of dissolved components and solvents in the form of salts, chemicals as well as alkalies or alkalinities. The lab has potential for carrying out research and consultancy work for various projects related to the environment.

Mechanics of Solids - (Sir Young Lab)

The identification of different types of rocks and understanding their behavior are the major objectives of geology. Further, development of cracks, fissures in rocks, their causes and their remedies are to be learnt in this lab.

Hydraulics Engineering (Bernoulli Lab)

The objective of this laboratory is to determine the various parameters related to fluid flow in pipes and in open channels. At present it is equipped with hydraulic benches & various stand-alone equipment to carry out experiments like determination of metacentric height of a floating vessel, verification of the Bernoulli’s energy equation, study of transition from laminar to turbulent flow, determination of velocity profile for pipeline flow, determination of coefficient of discharge for obstruction flow meter(venturimeter/orifice meter), determination of discharge coefficient  for various notches, determination of hydraulic coefficients for flow through an orifice, determination of friction coefficient for pipes of various diameters and calculation of minor head losses in pipes. The laboratory also houses sub sonic wind tunnel fitted with necessary instruments to measure lift & drag forces and pressure distribution during the flow over aerofoils & other objects. A specially designed boundary layer apparatus is also available to study the development of laminar and turbulent boundary layers. The laboratory also houses facilities for carrying out the study of flow over various objects in sub sonic wind tunnel, open channel  and boundary layer analysis.
