The Mechanical Engineering Department at JDCOEM proudly presents a spectrum of innovative patents representing cutting-edge research and practical solutions. Spearheaded by esteemed faculty members such as Jayant P. Modak and Prashant B. Maheshwary, our inventions span across diverse domains, from enhancing everyday tasks with inventions like the Workstation for Washing Utensils to pioneering advancements in power electronics with solutions like the Switching Mechanism for Cyclo Converter Circuit. Moreover, our commitment to societal welfare is evident in creations like the Assistive Tool for Senior Citizens, designed to empower the elderly in their daily lives. Additionally, our focus on sustainability shines through innovations such as the Portable Constructed Wetland Reactor, addressing environmental concerns through wastewater treatment. These patents not only underscore our department’s prowess in technological innovation but also reflect our dedication to addressing real-world challenges with inventive solutions.

Dr. Jayant Modak, a technical advisor at JD College of Engineering and Management, has developed a unique pedaling system that can be used to power a variety of machines, including a water pump, washing machine, saw machine, and grass cutter.

The system is based on a modified bicycle that has been fitted with a special pedaling mechanism. This mechanism allows the rider to pedal in a circular motion, which generates power that can be used to drive the machine.

The system has been successfully used to power a variety of machines, including a brick-making machine, a water pump, a wood saw, a washing machine, a grain grinder, and a grass cutter.

The system is particularly useful in areas where electricity is not readily available.

Dr. Modak has been working on the system for over 40 years. He has filed a patent for the system.

The system has been developed with the help of mechanical engineering students from JD College of Engineering and Management.

The system has been praised by experts for its simplicity, efficiency, and affordability.

The system is a significant achievement in the field of mechanical engineering.

It has the potential to make a significant impact on the lives of people in rural areas.

The system is a testament to the ingenuity and dedication of Dr. Jayant Modak and his team.

Achievement Summary
