Mr. Anurag Jayaprakash Nair is a Theatre practitioner with a Masters Degree in Performing Arts (Drama) from Pondicherry Central University. He started his theatre journey with Stagecraft Theatre in Nagpur and then attended a performance oriented workshop with Delhi’s eminent theatre group, “The Atelier Group”. He has been part of productions by Auroville Theatre Group, Surya Performance Lab and Satsang Teatro. He believes in the importance of the body of a performer and stresses on the practice of following a regular regimen of vocal and body exercises. Anurag has also dabbled into the field of Audio Drama with his Podcast, ”Not a Drama Podcast” which is available on Spotify, Apple and Google Podcasting platforms. His specialization lies in Acting & Direction with special stress on the Western Theatre practices. His works are based on the crossroads of Learning & Development and Performing Arts. He has passed NET Exam for Assistant Professor-Drama in 2018 & 2019.
