About the Faculty
I am fortunate to be faculty at JDCOEM, one of the most prestigious colleges. JDCOEM has helped me to grow from the very initial step of my life because I have completed my UG and PG from the same college and it is a very proud moment for me that I am working with this institution since the last 7 years.
I believe that the teaching role of faculty members reflects their centrality in addressing the primary educational mission among colleges and universities. As faculty members teach, they disseminate and impart basic or applied knowledge to students and assist students with the learning process and applying the knowledge. In this construction of the teaching role, the teacher is the content expert, and students are regarded as learners or novices to the academic discipline or field of study. Faculty members are expected to follow developments in the field so their expertise and knowledge base remains current. At many universities, faculty members are also expected to participate in creating the new developments that are taught, which sometimes leads to tensions about appropriate priorities for research and teaching roles.
My teaching life started in 2012 at JD polytechnic, after the completion of my PG I switched to Degree College and I am very thankful to this institute for all whatever I got from it. Finally, I conclude with the note that the teaching role of faculty members should be fulfilled as mentioned in the above paragraph.
